Mechanism of the coal bursts in the working face during mining of steeply inclined and extra thick coal seam

چکیده

Coal bursts caused by mining-induced seismicity occur in the working face steeply inclined and extra thick coal seams (SIETCSs). This article presents a case study SIETCS through discrete element simulation as well field investigation. The evolution of burst was studied from perspective stress distribution, crack propagation fragment ejection. results showed that dynamic failure mainly occurred near roof. deep bottom top roof are under high static due to clamping effect floor rotation triggered seismicity. when sum exceeds ultimate strength support strength, which called ‘clamping-rotation-dynamic loads’ mechanism. During burst, cracks developed rapidly into on side. can serve an important reference for mechanism SIETCSs.
